Heavy mist as we headed out of West Newton for our last day of
riding. With each mile we could really feel how much closer we
were getting to a big city, riding first through some state park
areas, then through suburbs and industrial areas, along train
lines, past an epic water park and finally within city limits of
Pittsburgh. Trail was busy with lots of folks setting off for
the weekend on their own GAP adventures.
We knew the ride was almost over when we pedaled over the 'hot
metal bridge' into downtown. We never did find the start of the
GAP trail, but we enjoyed walking around the park where the zero
marker is located and enjoying the epic water views.
